Application:

MD-ISCHIAL is a medical device designed to support movement by limiting the physiological degeneration of joints and tissues, as well as by counteracting any damage caused by:

- aging;

- incorrect posture;

- concomitant chronic disease;

- shocks and injuries;

- exogenous noxious agents.

MD-ISCHIAL is a medical device designed to support movement of joints, especially in the lower spine. Its main therapeutic functions include:

1. Barrier effect.

2. Lubricant action.

3. Mechanical support during the application of other pharmacological treatments.

MD-ISCHIAL is a medical device intended to be applied by qualified personnel in a private or public healthcare facility in order to:

- improve the movement of the lower limb;

- support the muscle extensibility of the lower limb;

- support the strengthening of muscle tissue;

- relieve pain when restoring the movements of the lower limbs.

Instructions for use:

Therapeutic protocol: One manipulation per week for 10 weeks.

Periarticular injection technique: the application site must be sterile; insert the needle close to the sacroiliac joint to a depth of 2-4 mm.

The following materials and accessories are recommended:

- materials for aseptic skin preparation: sterile gloves, iodine solution, alcohol solution, sterile dressings, ethyl chloride skin spray;

- needles: sterile 27 G;

- syringes: 5 or 10 ml, depending on the volume of the injection solution.

Contraindications / side effects:

There are no reported cases of hypersensitivity to MD-ISCHIAL. However, patients with proven hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or excipients should be tested before administration by injecting a small amount into one arm and observed for one hour.

Warnings and precautions:

Sciatica pain requires differential diagnosis with secondary muscle pain, with herniated disc, with spinal canal stenosis, with Cauda equina syndrome.

Slight redness at the injection site may be due to mechanical irritation of the needle or a superficial skin reaction.

Skin cleaning/disinfection is required before and after application. Pyogenic bacteria may cause an abscess at the injection site.

KEEP OUT OF THE REACH AND SIGHT OF CHILDREN.

Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to a properly stored product in an unopened package. Use the product immediately after opening the package.

Application:

MD-ISCHIAL can be used for independent treatment or in combination with other medical devices of the same class, in order to individually adapt the treatment to the clinical course.

When maintenance treatment of acute pain is required, MD-ISCHIAL can be combined with MD-NEURAL, MD-POLY, MD-MUSCLE (with one or more of them).

Moreover, when maintenance treatment of the connective tissue matrix is ​​required or when prevention of aging is required, MD-ISCHIAL can be combined with MD-MATRIX and MD-TISSUE.

MD-ISCHIAL can also be used as mechanical support in the treatment of the following complaints:

- sciatica pain (in combination with MD-LUMBAR and MD-NEURAL);

- neuralgic pain in the lumbar spine (in combination with MD-MUSCLE);

- neuralgic pain in the leg due to post-surgical treatment of herniated disc L4-L5, L5-S1;

- Morton's neuroma (in combination with MD-NEURAL).

Instructions in case of damage to the sterility of the vials / ampoules:

Do not use the vial / ampoule if it is open or not completely sealed. After opening the vial / ampoule must be injected immediately.
