It is absolutely mandatory, before using this product, to read the leaflet carefully, because it contains important information on how to use it!

Active ingredient: Potassium base.

IN WHICH CASES IS THIS PRODUCT USED?

This product is intended for local treatment of molluscs (Molluscum contagiosum).

IN WHICH CASES SHOULD THIS PRODUCT NOT BE USED?

This product should not be used: on children under 3 years of age, on mucous membranes or the area around the eyes, in case of allergy to any of the ingredients, on infected molluscs, on other types of skin warts.

PRECAUTIONS:

This product is corrosive. It is absolutely mandatory to apply the solution only on the lesions!

Do not use on mucous membranes or the eye area.

In the case of breastfeeding, it is contraindicated to use this product on those parts of the body that may be in contact with the baby.

The use of this product is not recommended in patients with an acute form of atopic dermatitis and in people with reduced immunity (e.g. HIV positive).

ATTENTION!

In case of contact of the product with the skin around the mollusk, wash thoroughly with water.

In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor.

Do not rub the eyes and mucous membranes if the product accidentally gets on the fingers, they should be washed with water immediately.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

In order to avoid possible drug interactions, it is advisable to periodically inform your doctor or your pharmacist about new medicines you are taking.

APPLICATION METHOD:

For external use! Before use, place the vial on a smooth surface to avoid possible spillage!

1. Place a little of the product on the spatula.

2. The brush is touched to the edge of the vial to avoid the formation of a drop.

3. The solution is applied to the molluscs using the brush.

4. Leave to dry.

5. Dip the brush into the bottle every 2-3 applications.

6. To repeat the applications on the same mollusk, in several consecutive days, until the appearance of inflammation (redness). This usually happens between the 4th and 10th day. In one day, 2 applications are made - morning and evening. The inflammation is a sign of the future healing of the molluscum, which usually occurs after 4-6 weeks.

7. This product should not be applied to inflamed molluscum.

8. Molutrex should not be placed on the same mollusk for more than 14 consecutive days.

UNWANTED REACTIONS:

As with any active product, side effects such as burning and irritation can occur with Molutrex.

When certain molluscs fall off, hyper- or hypo-pigmentation can be observed in their place, which spontaneously pass after time.

ADVICES:

Molluscum is a skin disease caused by DNA viruses. In order to reduce the spread of viruses, it is necessary to:

Do not transfer personal toiletries to other persons;

Do not use shared bathrooms, swimming pools, saunas, etc.;

Do not comb the mollusks themselves;

Avoid sexual contact until the molluscum is completely cured.

COMPOSITION: In 10 ml of aqueous solution there is 0.5 mg of potassium base.

PACKAGING: Bottle of 3 ml, for local use, with a child-proof cap and a brush.

METHOD OF STORAGE:

Do not use this product after the expiration date written on the bottle!
