When should ODM5 be used?
ODM5 is recommended for the reduction of corneal edema (swelling caused by corneal dystrophy), post-traumatic edema and post-surgical edema. Corneal edema is characterized by an increased amount of fluid in the cornea. ODM5, as a hypersaline solution, draws this fluid out of the cornea through its osmotic effect. In this way, it enables the cornea to regain its normal state of hydration in a very short time. Thus, ODM5 participates in improving the quality of our vision.
