Caya contraceptive diaphragm is a medical device - a newly developed product for barrier contraception for women. It is an anatomically and ergonomically shaped silicone membrane covering the cervix. It acts as a mechanical barrier and prevents sperm from reaching the egg.
The contraceptive diaphragm consists of several parts:
Silicone membrane (1) - a thin but strong membrane that prevents the passage of seminal fluid.
Edge (2) - flexible and stable, thanks to which the diaphragm is easily inserted and positioned deep in the vagina.
Center point (3) - is marked to help position the diaphragm better.
Grip and remove recess (4) - facilitates removal from the vagina. The woman can put her finger in it and pull out the diaphragm.
Advantages:
Comfortable - not felt during sex;
Easy to use and insert - it is placed like a tampon in the vagina;
Reliable - completely covers the cervix;
One size fits most women;
Safe - does not contain latex.
Usage:
Always use Caya in combination with a contraceptive gel (eg Caya gel).
Caya is inserted into the vagina immediately before sexual intercourse and must remain there for at least 6 hours after intercourse.
The diaphragm should be used every time you have sex.
Contraindications:
Use within the first 6 weeks after birth.
If an aperture size of 85 mm and larger or 60 mm or smaller was previously used.

Important:
